Sunday April 14 - Urban "Desert" Exploration

This is a very interesting area, close to the Angeles forest. The vegetation is pretty much what you would find near the California desert and yet there are so many plants that you use. We'll look at local edible and aromatic plants such as various sages, elderflowers, cactuses, black mustard, a native plants natives used as potato. etc...., there is a stream nearby so maybe we'll also find watercress, sweet clover and more.

We'll have some Mugwort/Lemon soda after the walk.

Time: From 10 A.M. to around 12:30 P.M.

Cost: $20.00

10266 Foothill Boulevard

Lake View Terrace, CA 91342

Take the Wheatland exit from the 210 freeway, we will meet in the parking lot on the left side (where the saddlery and liqueur store is). Buy your water at the liqueur store and we'll get to park there for a couple of hours)
