Capilano Regional park does not have a regular stewardship group looking after it, ivy is rampant in parts of it and it is spreading fast. Let's get in there and pull out that ivy!
We are meeting in the District of North Vancouver at the end of Sandown Place. Go North on Capilano Rd from Marine Drive, turn left on Fullerton Avenue (there is parking on Fullerton for those driving) and then right on Sandown Pl all the way to the end to the cul de sac:

Your rain jacket in case it is raining (it'll be the rainy time of year). Our events in the rain have still been great fun! Background about Capilano Regional Park
The park is located in the district of North Vancouver and includes a series of trails that run along the Capilano River and a salmon hatchery. The park encompasses the majority of upstream areas of Capilano River below Cleveland Dam. North of the dam is the GVRD watershed.
