Majestic Playwright's Lab
Are you a writer that likes writing skits/sketches/plays? Are you an actor that likes cold reading new material? Well this group is for BOTH! Majestic Playwright's Lab meets once a month and cold reads local playwright's work in an effort to give feedback on the pieces and give local actors a chance to cold read and meet new actors, writers, and theatre-folk. The Majestic Playwrights Lab will have its next meeting on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Lobby of the Majestic Theatre, 115 SW 2nd Street in downtown Corvallis. The Majestic Playwrights Lab is a place for playwrights to present, share, and discuss their new plays with other playwrights, actors, audience, and interested community members. What we're about

The Majestic Theatre in Corvallis, Oregon has been home to community arts performances since 1913 and needs YOU to fuel what we do. What do we mean? The 100 or so events we put on at the Majestic every year are powered by thousands of volunteers like YOU who bring their talent and creativity to our stages. We need actors, singers, improv-ers, writers, dancers, technicians, artists, and volunteers of every kind to dream up and execute the locally-sourced entertainment that we love to produce. Thus, we will be posting Meetups for auditions, workshops, classes, shows, meetings, calls for volunteers and other Majestic functions in hopes of bringing new faces from the Corvallis and surrounding area into the Majestic community (more like family). Additionally, you can email jimbo@majestic.org for more info about getting involved with the Majestic or to setup a tour or meeting.
