The Maker Station Inc, is home to a vibrant community of makers in Cobb County. It is a collaborative makerspace / hackerspace where curious and like-minded folks come together to work on projects, discover new areas of interest, develop a new business idea, or simply grow their personal hobbies. The makerspace is a 100% volunteer driven non-profit corp serving the interstate corridor northwest of Atlanta, GA. This includes Symrna, Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, and surrounding metro areas. The Maker Station, Marietta, GA
This will be a beginner class on 3D printing with a focus on FDM printers. We will start with a basic understanding of 3D printers you will learn about filament types and use cases for them. You will learn to change filament, clear clogged nozzles, and other skills, lastly a crash course in the slicer "software" cura.
This is the class you need to use the station's printers, but also very helpful if your thinking about purchasing a printer for home!
