What we're about

Interested in finding out more about the history of Madrid? Then come and join me on a walking tour. I’m the author of The Making of Madrid (https://themakingofmadrid.com/), a blog that documents the development of the city from its roots as a medieval Arabic fort to its present-day incarnation as a glittering metropolis. My blog began life as a passion project and now, after writing it for more than two years, my brain is bursting with fascinating factoids and intriguing anecdotes that I’m dying to share with others.

Besides running regular free tours (donations gratefully accepted), I’ll also be holding one-off events for fellow history buffs at various locations, so keep an eye out!

All tours are in English.
