This group is devoted to bringing together the motorcycle riding women of Melbourne. <br>
No matter what you ride or your riding ability, although it is strongly advisable that 'green' riders practise how to control the basics of a motorcycle and have a few hours of riding on various road surfaces at various speeds - (not just around the block!) before joining our group rides. This is to ensure the safety of everyone. Riding too slow is as dangerous as other road users become frustrated.
We’re a growing group and while happy to ride with the boys every now and then, there’s something about riding together as women that’s a different type of fun.
As motorcyclists we know that motorcycling isn’t just a means to get from A to B, it's a way of life. One that isn’t easy, but keeps on getting better and better the more time you put in.
That’s why the purpose of this group is to support each other and encourage other women to experience the joys (and frustrations!) of motorbike riding.
Outings will include social rides through Victoria’s beautiful country side, cafe rides to share a coffee and have a chat, charity rides to give back to the community, motorcycle expos and whatever else sparks our interest.
Please note that on occasions, male partners will be permitted to join (this will be specified on posts) but these events will be rare. Most of our rides will be all-female only events.
Please ensure that you ALL questions (incl. how long you have been riding) are answered and provide an appropriate profile photo or your membership request will be denied.
Your safety is our number one priority as well as the enjoyment of attending our rides. As such we ask that you are comfortable riding on your own and that you can reach the speeds sign-posted, and that you are also dressed appropriately for motorcycling with protective gear. Please ensure that your motorcycle is in working condition and that you are fully insured.

* please note that meetup is a 'paid' site and that in order for us to keep the group running, we will be running at least one overnighter each year with a small amount added to the total overnighter fee to be deducted to pay our annual contribution of $180 (US) to meetup. Thank you ahead for your generosity and contribution to allow this group to continue for our members.
