Learn about how two independent organisations, 1$Day Limited and Save the Children Australia, have navigated that journey and formed a more powerful and effective structure and relationship, all driven by a shared vision and mission. Cofounder of One Dollar Day, Sophie Bartho, will speak about how she took an idea and made it a reality.

About Sophie
Sophie is a brand and marketing strategist with over 20 years experience building brands by engaging stakeholders, driving sales, managing risk and reputation. Sophie developed her brand expertise working in the design, advertising and marketing industry where she ran her own agency for 23 years. During this time she worked with some of the world’s greatest brands, some of the world’s largest marketers and some of Australia’s largest corporations. In 2008 Sophie saw the opportunity and challenge to create a ‘value able’ global brand when she tossed around the concept One Dollar Day with her husband. Her inspiration was also born in the daily ritual of kissing her three children goodnight.
