Fireside chat w/Matt Cordio of Startup WI + Product Managers @ Popular Pays & NM

Details
We’re back! Thank you to the awesome, knowledgeable speakers and panelists who kicked off our first event—and to all the attendees who made our first foray into MeetingUp in Milwaukee a huge success!
If you haven’t seen the highlight reel on the Milwaukee Product Brew page, take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeDfBGMUUQ4&feature=youtu.be
(The content will make you want to build products, but the music will make you want to get into extreme sports.)
Speaking of, many of us marvel at how talented professional athletes are, but we can’t help but wonder, “How did they get there?” One of the many highlights from our first event was a panel discussion on “What differentiates a good product manager from a great one.” The answers included: those who can see the big picture—not just their piece of the puzzle—and those who are able to translate and incorporate feedback from all sides in order to ship the right product for their company.
Coming up on December 11th, we invite you to join us for several informative presentations and a fireside chat that will help you go from good to great (or great to greater!). You’ll hear from other product managers in the community on how they make critical decisions as their product pivots and evolves, including how to keep innovating when a current product is already a success. (Hint: The Innovation S-Curve.) You’ll also learn about a tried-and-true business model that flopped as a digital experience, and why.
Afterward, sit back with a hot cocoa for a fireside chat with Matt Cordio. As the founder of Startup Wisconsin Week, Meet the Meetups, and Skills Pipeline, Matt’s got a big mission and an important one: Creating and fostering a tech community in Milwaukee. It’s no easy task, but just like the athlete who has mastered a triple backflip, killer slam dunk, or impossible-to-defend backhand, Matt had to start somewhere. And he can use your help to keep the community growing!
