Build strength and gain flexibility that will help you with endurance and speed in the swim, bike and run. We will use dumbells, TRX, bands, med balls, stability balls, kettlebells, foam rollers, and standard weight training equipment. All levels are welcome. Modifications are offered. Enter the building from the back entrance. You will see cars and big tractor tires. Come on in! Showers available, Bring your own towel for showering and another for the workout if you need it. Coach Jennifer will teach Beginner Tri Swim at RiverChase in Fenton on Tuesdays. This drill and form swim session will be geared to those newer to swimming or those working on their swim form. There will be plenty of drills as we focus on basic form. Bring your swim toys (buoy, fins, paddles) if you have them. The Rec Center's doors open at 5:30am with class starting at 5:45am. Join us! All levels are welcome. Coach Sally will offer a workout suggestion and modifications if needed depending on your level of fitness and goals. Example workout: 1 mile easy warm up + drills 4-6x800s at a strong and steady pace EASY 400s walk/jog to recover in between. 1 mile cool down On occasion we will have a strength workout to follow.
