Join us every Wednesday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Whether you are curious, ready to become a member or visiting from another Toastmasters club, the door is always open. Visitors are welcome and can join in the fun!

If you are thinking about becoming a Toastmaster (and we hope you are), know that it is the first step on an informative, challenging, fun and rewarding journey of personal and professional development. It’s about stepping into your best self, not only as a speaker and a leader, but the skills you acquire are transferable------they impact your life.

One great way to make progress as a Toastmaster is to set goals. The organizational structure is set up to help us accomplish some great speaking and leadership goals. Upon signing up as a Toastmaster, you begin with a fun “Icebreaker Speech,” designed to share a little about yourself. This is just the first of many speeches you can present.

Don’t allow all of this goal-setting to intimidate you; actually, when it comes to setting goals, Toast of Cobb is a great place to be. We have just the right energy combination – professional, sprinkled with a family-like feel – to create an environment that will help you move through your goals with ease. Oh, you will be challenged, absolutely, but challenge is what keeps us going and growing, not comfort.

So, come and join us. How can you lose…you get to set and achieve some great goals as a speaker and leader that are transferable, AND you join a strong and caring community of folks who will cheer you on every step of the way. Being a Toastmaster is a great way to kick start your goal setting in other areas as well; consider this a gentle nudge in the right direction.
