Hometown: Alexandria-Mount Vernon
June 2, 2016
Games are hosted at my place once to twice a month on Friday evenings after 19:00. Food and beverage are sometimes available prior to the games for those who wish to partake. Due to family and other commitments, I tend to be unavailable for events on Saturdays or Sundays. I am generally available to attend other games in the DC area on Friday evenings.
The games at my place are generally of the table-top miniature variety, scaled between 4 to 8 players, for 2-4 hours. Periods/miniatures sizes vary greatly. Rules are easily understandable that players can pick-up the mechanics after a few turns. GMs are welcomed to run or play-test games. If need be, I tend to have enough terrian and such to assist. If interested in running a game, let me know so I can layout the table before gameday.
Located in Southern Alexandria, in Fairfax County near Mount Vernon Hospital. My house is marked by U.S. Flag. Parking is available in visitor spaces and on Tis Wel Drive.
I am open to most rules with a couple caveats, rule mechanics needs to be easily learned and taught to others. Unfortunately, there is not enough space to detail out the miniatures periods that are painted and ready for the tabletop. However, I tend to avoid GW Warhammer type rules.
Hello All, I enjoy hosting and playing most games whether it is miniatures, or board games. The qualifying factors are good spirited, social- able, and flexible gamers. Like playing RPGs, but unable to commit to long-term campaigns.
The group is great! So far, the organizers have been very inclusive and personable. There are a variety of games being hosted all the time.
