Luke Melia/Yael Sahar of Yapp - Tapping into Mobile UI with HTML 5

This talk will be given by a developer and designer team and look at mobile UI from both a user experience perspective as well as what it takes to implement using HTML 5. Luke Melia and Yael Sahar are CTO and Creative Director of Yapp, a NYC-based startup building a consumer mobile product currently in private beta.

Luke & Yael will cover the design principles and challenges of mobile UI, look at detailed examples of UI patterns and interface elements, difference between user expectations and conventions on Android and iPhone, tips and tricks on implementing these elements using web technologies. This talk is will be a good fit for designers, developers and anyone working at the detailed level of mobile product development.
