"Join us on the flight deck for a special screening of the acclaimed new CNN Films and NEON documentary APOLLO 11, by director Todd Douglas Miller and archivist Dan Rooney. Constructed with never-before-seen original 70mm film footage and more than 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings from the 1969 Apollo mission. The resulting portrait of those historic nine days is dazzling! Space is limited; seating is first come, first served."

INFO: "Watch a movie on the ship’s flight deck*, under the stars! Enjoy views of the Hudson River and city skyline...Admission (free of charge) will be first-come, first-served seating.

The flight deck opens at 5:00pm*, seating is limited and is not guaranteed, it is on a first come first served basis. The movie begins at sunset, weather permitting. Alcohol is not permitted, doors close at 8:30pm."

(We are not likely to see each other while in line so please meetup upstairs on the Intrepid's flight deck after going through their security screening. Please meetup at the base of the vertical structure with the sign "BEWARE OF JETS" as shown by the red arrow in the photo below. (Please do not go by the location of the movie screen as shown in that photo because they may not set it up at that location.) Look for me sitting on a yellow tarp.

Dress warmly and bring something comfortable to sit on. Feel free to bring some snacks or non-alcoholic beverages to share.
