Azure DevOps: Trackin’ Work & Shippin’ Bits

This will be a joint meeting of the Nashville Microsoft Azure Users Group, the Nashville .NET Developers Group and the Nashville DevOps Meetup.

Abstract:

Recently Microsoft re-branded the Azure-based Visual Studio Team Services as DevOps in order to emphasize its use in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment scenarios.

But it is much more than that.

Azure DevOps is Microsoft's flexible solution for enabling organizations, departments, or even isolated teams to collaborate on the production and deployment of software. It's comprised of tools that allow you to plan and track work; host Git repos; host private npm, NuGet, and Maven packages; create build and release pipelines; and create test plans.

This talk is intended to take us end to end to explore how these features work together to allow you to streamline your DevOps process and ship with confidence.

This will be a journey through the process of getting and tracking work all the way through deployments using Azure DevOps.
