Nashville Outdoor Adventures Club is an Outdoor and Indoor oriented social club. We are Old and New friends, here friendships are built, we are local professionals, singles, married, young and old who enjoy Middle Tennessee's many amenities.

We are kayakers and canoeists, campers, hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists, golfers, fishermen, bowlers, artists, travelers, divers, skiers, climbers, cavers, boaters, backpackers, diners, buncoers, boardgamers and hang-by-the thread-of-your-pants-ers!

We offer a variety of indoor and outdoors interests that includes free kayaking clinic for our members, plus "how to self rescue and water safety training and "everything" you'll need to know about kayaking" during warmer months. We will "ready" you for an exciting Kayaking-water adventure and beyond, we benefit from each others by our socials and networking events, laughter and fun is priceless!

Our events are planned and organized for our members and their guest to enjoy, all new members have a 2-4 weeks period to check out our full calendar and sign on to an event..

Hello friends....how about an entire weekend of Kayaking and Camping at Crazy Horse Recreation Campground in Waynesboro TN.
Why not get here Friday and set up with Several of your FAVE CAMPING PEEPS...😍
...On Saturday we will run BUFFALO RIVER ADVENTURES AT TEXAS BOTTOMS BRIDGE TO TOPSEY BRIDGE FOR A NICE LONG 13 river miles...
WE WILL SHUTTLE OUR SELVES...after our paddle will head back to camp for a nice campfire dinner...OUR SUNDAY'S PADDLE WILL BE FROM CRAZY HORSE OUTFITTER to BLUE ROCK THIS WILL BE 10 RIVER MILES....
FOR THIS PADDLE PLEASE RENT FROM CRAZY HORSE TO SAVES YOU THE $20 PP ACCESS AND SHUTTLE FEES...THOSE NOT RENTING YOUR FREE IS ALSO $20 PP.

SINCE SEVERAL OF US ARE CAMPING HERE ON FRIDAY EVENING...
We will leave from here to our PUT IN....( Those not camping...just paddling for day leave your car at CRAZY HORSE or FOLLOW US TO TOPSEY BRIDGE ETC.
PUT IN...TEXAS BOTTOM BOTTOMS BRIDGE ON SICKLER RD.

Our TAKE OUT: will be at Topsey Bridge--

DUE TO OUR COVID-19,,,PLEASE BRING ALONG YOUR MASK FOR OUR SHUTTLE..ALSO TRY TO KEEP 6 FT. APART AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE...

Bring along your cooler for drinks, lunch, snacks etc. it will be HOT!!

BRING A DRY BOX FOR YOUR PHONE AND KEYS, BE SURE TO HAVE CARABINERS ON YOUR KAYAK TO SECURE YOUR STUFF

KAYAKS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE IN NEED...SIMPLY LET ME KNOW YOUR PREFERENCE, SIT IN OR ON TOP KAYAK...$30 each

...HELLO friends...how about a nice liesure float/paddle on our third section of Buffalo River Adventures...THIS WILL BE A 10 MILES PADDLE. WE WILL START AT CRAZY HORSE (BELL BRIDGE)
......THERE'S A $20PP TO ACCESS THIS RIVER...THERE'S NO SHUTTLE NEEDED THEY WILL SHUTTLE US ETC....ACCESS AND TAKE OUT IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY...

At 1 mile -Waterfall on right
At 3 miles...1st Bluff just past Horse camp on the right
At 4 miles...Moon Cave.there are 2 steep hillsides on the left with a stream flooring between follow stream on foot and you'll find cave in left.
At 5 miles...2nd Bluff on right "Eagles Nest" you'll see big double stacked rocks.
At 7 miles...Rope swing on left...you'll have 3 miles left...these will be MOSTLY STILL WATERS
...
We will meet at Cracker Barrel on Charlotte Pike to CARPOOL ETC.

PLAN ON AN ALL DAY ADVENTURES WITH US...

Bring your cooler for snacks /lunch etc.

Hello Friends,,,It's Back our week night BBQ and fellowship ;~)

YOU: bring along anything you like to grill over an open fire, your fave meat etc., and a side to share...a chair for your comfort if needed, jacket also if temp is cool...

Club will provide all paper goods...

Directions....Cooks Landing directions: Exit I-40 at Exit 221 go toward Nashville shores at light which is...Bell Road turn Left Drive to the Light at NEW HOPE ROAD...Turn RIGHT... follow road to end this is Stewart Ferry TURN RIGHT..go STRAIGHT toward lake...you'll see a Corp of Engineer sign for Cook's Recreation Area 1 then drive approx 1/2 miles to the Boat Ramp where we will be launching.

BE sure to have LIGHTS for your kayak...2 sets, one for front and rear,,,these lights are for your safety....so other Boaters can see you from a distance, mandatory for night paddling...you can use a flashlight have two also and have Ziploc bag to keep them dry...

I will have Kayak for those in need for a small donation of $20 let me know on rsvp.....YOU ARE TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR KAYAK, PADDLE AND PDF's...and especially drain plug...

Please...do not wait till last minutes to rsvp for kayak, call or text me asap if you're a no-show....
