Hey Ho Book Lovers!

Please join us if you can relate to any of the following:

  • Do you often feel unenthused at the idea of having what you read next dictated by a book club?
  • Or wish that your book discussions would involve opinions of both men AND women?
  • Do you love meeting up with friends to discuss what others are reading and get recommendations, in a friendly, obligation-free environment?
  • Do you use your library card more than your gym membership?
  • Or visit Vromans on a bi-weekly basis and wish you had someone to browse with?
  • Do you fall in love with the staff members at your local bookstore based solely on the "staff recommends" shelf?
  • Or listen to your favorite book discussion podcast wishing you were cool enough to have those sorts of discussions in person?

Look no further!

What I hope to accomplish with this group:

  1. Bring book-loving individuals together in my community!
  2. Generate a killer book-recommendation machine through these meetups for anyone who attends!
  3. Go on fun bookish adventures (bookstore browsing, literary festivals, and author readings)
  4. Have deep, enlightening conversations about the publishing industry, the future of books, the preservation of libraries, etc.

Sound good? We'd love to meet you!

Once again, if it wasn't already obvious, this is NOT a book club. We like to live in an obligation free zone! Feels good, right? Now you can get back to that huge stack of books on your nightstand!

No-Show Policy:

Unfortunately, I have been forced to do this after a year of holding off and hoping people would just be cool and come if they RSVPed. Such is not the case with some people sadly. Our policy here at TNBB is if you RSVP for an event and do not show up three times, you'll be asked to leave the group. Ouch, I know. But just don't do it!! Totally avoidable! :)
