What we're about

These days, people do business with the people they like and trust. You are your own brand, we want to know who YOU are. Please join us, and leave your sales pitch at home.

The Next Gen Network organizes events and volunteer opportunities for socially conscious professionals of the North Shore and Boston. Our mission is to grow our business networks through connection, introductions, and community involvement.

We host laid-back, no pressure socials where all walks of life are welcome. Our attendees enjoy the break of getting to know each other and their respective networks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Grow your business network: We proudly encourage those who attend our events to not only use the resources we provide for them to better their own business but to help others along the way to also grow and prosper in their own career. This is done mainly by connecting like-minded individuals and building relationships. We are committed to proactively connecting those who are actively involved with The Next Gen Network.

Community Involvement: In addition to making worthwhile connections, many attendees have expressed interest in getting involved in their community but lack the resources, knowledge, or push to make it happen. That’s where we step in. With volunteer opportunities, connections to local chambers, non-profits, and other wonderful organizations, we are thrilled to connect professionals with volunteering opportunities to give back to their community or a cause they are passionate about. A win-win-win for all. (They're happy, we’re happy, and the organization is happy - and guess what...we love happy). Want in?

Add your name to our email list and we’ll keep you informed on new, milestones and upcoming events. (http://thenextgennetwork.co/)

Virtual Coffee Meetup - Build Community & Connections

Online event

This Virtual Coffee Meetup is a spin off of our signature monthly coffee events. Event is open to the public. Join us Wednesday, August 19th from 10:30am-12:30pm for a virtual coffee meetup to build community & connections for your business or cause. This event is a spin off of our monthly meetups (usually held at Tartine in Beverly and Breaking Grounds Cafe in Peabody). The style is very laid back - no agenda, no timeline. You may show up and leave when you please. This event is open to the public (free for NGN members, non members are asked to make a donation to a local cause). As always, we ask that you come with an open mind and leave your sales pitch behind. We don't "close," we connect at The Next Gen Network. Prior to COVID, this was a great event for people to get their feet wet with networking and/or a no pressure approach to building their network. We LOVE seeing new faces here, and hope you'll consider joining. This event is free for members of The Next Gen Network. Non-members are invited and encouraged to join as well! If you're not a member of NGN, we're asking for a donation (any amount you're comfortable with) to one of the two organizations below (members are also encouraged to donate if they feel inclined, but not required). Newhall Fields Community Farm: In an effort to combat local food insecurity and socioeconomic inequality, NFCF grows and supplies high quality food that is affordable, accessible, and inclusive with particular attention to culturally appropriate food crops. Currently, all produce is donated to another amazing local nonprofit, Haven From Hunger (a division of Citizens Inn). Northshore Juneteenth Association: North Shore Juneteenth Association exists to give back to their community while creating events and providing resources that expose ALL cultures to positive images of African American culture. Registration is required so we can keep track and plan accordingly. Once you RSVP, you'll receive an email from eventbrite with a link to join. The times are changing, but together, we stand strong. Hope to see you there! Please RSVP here: www.eventbrite.com/e/virtual-coffee-meetup-build-community-connections-tickets[masked]
