WELCOME TO NORTH JERSEY FRIENDS (SINGLES MINGLES MEET-UP GROUP)!
NORTH JERSEY FRIENDS, WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS!
This is a fun and active group for singles interested in hiking, camping, kayaking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, beach days and outdoor adventures. We attend festivals, wineries and car shows and only the BEST LIVE MUSIC tribute bands and SUMMER SERIES OUTDOOR CONCERTS in the local Northern Bergen County area. We meet for happy hour and go out dancing at local night clubs. We go out to dinner at the many wonderful restaurants in the local area. We get together for potluck on the beach, picnics in the park and bbq's and just about anything else that looks like fun!
The majority of our members are in their 40's and 50's, however EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Life is full of adventure and fun things to do, but even more fun when you have friends to do them with!

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
FACE PHOTO ON PROFILE (no pets, scenery, flowers, etc)- For security reasons
ADULTS ONLY....close to the age range mentioned above
RSVP POLICY: Please be courteous and RSVP to the events you plan to attend. If you cannot attend, please change your RSVP accordingly. Repetitive "No Shows" will result in removal from the group. Accurate headcount is necessary for restaurant reservations, yacht cruises and other special events. It also helps organizers, hosts and members find you at events.
NO SHOW POLICY: To maintain the quality and enjoyment of events, members who RSVP are expected to show up. Repetitive failures to show up at an event will result in removal of membership. Specific factual circumstances will, of course, be considered. Email the Organizer with an explanation within 24 hours of missing the event. Please be considerate of other members and do not sign up for an event you do not plan to attend. This is especially important if there is a Wait-list and/or the event involves a third-party (e.g. restaurant, riding stable, sports arena, concert venue, boat ride, etc.).
AT YOUR OWN RISK POLICY: By joining this group, you acknowledge that you attend all events "at your own risk" and cannot hold Meet-Up, Organizers, Assistant Organizers, or Event Hosts liable for anything that happens on the way to, during, or when leaving the Meet-Up event. Any accident, theft, injury, illness, relationship breakup, or other event as stated on the Meetup Agreement (http://www.meetup.com (http://www.meetup.com/))
that may occur is not the fault or responsibility of the Meetup Group, Organizer and /or members. You assume all risks when attending a Meet-Up Event.
PHOTOS: By joining, you agree that photographs taken at events may be posted on the events page by members and organizers. This helps to market the group and lets members or potential members see the fun we had and encourages members to join us at the next event!
SEXUAL HARASSMENT/BULLYING/SLANDER: Inappropriate conduct, including, without limitation, stalking, inappropriate touching and other such unwanted physical contact, inappropriate emails, texts, telephoning etc., will NOT be tolerated or condoned and will result in the immediate removal from the RAMAPO MOUNTAIN SINGLES Meet-Up Group. Additionally, "no" means "no" and a member who repeatedly pressures another member for dates, sex, etc., after having been told that his/her attention is unwelcome will be removed from the membership immediately. Bullying, Harassment, Slandering of a member, host or organizer is taken very seriously and will not be tolerated under any circumstances and is grounds for immediate dismissal from the group. All decisions by the Organizer of the RAMAPO MOUNTAIN SINGLES Meet-Up Group are final and not appeal-able.
BACKGROUND/CRIMINAL CHECKS: Background/criminal checks are NOT performed on ANY group member. Please use your own best judgment and discretion when interacting with members within group events, including without limitation to, making arrangements to carpool with members of the RAMAPO MOUNTAIN SINGLES Meet-Up Group with whom you do not know well.
SOLICITATION: No soliciting on the Meet-Up discussion page is permitted on the comments section of the events page or on the discussion page of the Meet-Up Group or at an event, including but not limited to businesses for profit, sexual solicitation, apartments for rent, seeking an apartment/roommate or solicitation of other Meet-Up groups.

About HOLLAND RIDGE FARMS:
The Jansens have been in the tulip industry for over 100 years. Great Opa Casey was a bulb grower and seller in Holland. He taught his son, Casey Sr., who came to America as a teenager and started a tulip growing business right here in New Jersey! In turn, Casey Sr. taught his son, Casey Jr. the tricks of the trade. Join us after work for 'ARCADE GAME NIGHT' featuring all the "OLD SCHOOL ARCADE GAMES" we grew up with back in our high-school days...such as PAC MAN, ASTEROIDS, SPACE INVADERS, MISSILE COMMAND, DONKEY KONG, PINBALL MACHINES, AIR HOCKEY AND MORE..... So much fun!
BILLY'S MIDWAY ARCADE is located on the second floor above THE CELTIC CORNER PUB, 312 Lafayette Ave Hawthorne NJ. The entrance is next to the parking garage on the Diamond Bridge Avenue side. Classic arcade games from 1954-2004. Hourly & daily admission.
The arcade is geared toward nostalgic adults (not "modern kid" arcade). The arcade is entirely time based. There are no pesky quarters or tokens required, because none of the games are pay-per-play. The entire arcade is set to free-play, so we can enjoy as many games as we would like while only paying for the time we are there.
By request, the Arcade has added a prize crane that is set to "play until you win" and a gumball machine style pinball game that dispenses rubber balls; both of these are pay-to-play but you are guaranteed to win something with each play. The prize crane is currently set at $2 per play and is loaded with an assortment of stuffed toys. The pinball game is 25 cents and will dispense 1 ball after you play with it but you can win a second ball by hitting the marked target.
Arrive at 6:00 p.m. to play classic arcade games from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with Meet-Up members.
Afterwards, we will go downstairs to THE CELTIC IRISH PUB for food and drinks.
