What we're about

The Orange Venture Group is dedicated to anyone with interest in keeping fit and outdoor activities with a knack for adventure. Sweden isn't only a great place to live, it offers many fantastic places to explore. We created this group to create a community of people who want to break free from the flatness of everyday life and embark on a weekend trip in the wild, climbing or cycling.

You don't have to be a certified adrenaline junkie to join us, the only thing you need is positive attitude, warm clothes and comfortable hiking shoes.

We meet up every Monday for our signature outdoor training at Bultoftaparken. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and get fit. We train mostly for pleasure but weekly training programmes are specifically designed to develop motor skills and target fitness components (strength, power, explosiveness, endurance). OVG is an ideal place to start your training for obstacle racing.

Don't worry about experience, we are happy to accommodate all levels of fitness. Better yet speak to Anna or Olof directly if you have any questions.

Aside from that we often engage in plenty of social events, going out, occasional cookups, friendly badminton or volleyball match, carting etc.

OVG has been created to form a dedicated community of active and adventure-minded people who look to become stronger versions of themselves, maximise their potential and make the most of their spare time while sharing a laugh in the great atmosphere. At the end we're all here to have a great time. Feel free to check it out for yourself.

PLEASE NOTE: we value the time and commitment of our members above anything else therefore in order to keep it fair between all participants we will be removing members who haven't showed up on meetups without updating their RSPV accordingly no later than an hour before the meetup.

Functional training at Pildamsparken- skogens utegym

Join us for a functional training every Monday! We are a friendly bunch, very committed and active but above all we do have heaps of fun. An average session is a mixture of mid to high intensity workout including strength training, bodyweight and balance exercises, stretching and sprint/ long distance rounds. The meetup is a great opportunity to meet like-minded locals while keeping in shape and perhaps shedding some unwanted kilograms. Events are lead by the core team of the OVG that take turns leading the training. We are dedicated to bettering ourselves and each other and the workouts are adjusted to individual fitness levels so you're guaranteed to find something to your liking. FAQ: 1. Who is the training for? Everyone with an interest in fitness and keeping healthy. 2. Do I have to be fit to participate? You may find it challenging if you have never participated in a similar activity before but the sessions are designed to accommodate the fitness needs of all participants. You're always welcome to speak to us if you have a particular concern. 3. Are the events free? Yes. 4. Are there changing facilities at the site? Unfortunately, no. 6. How do I find the Meetup and the group in the park? The gym is hard to locate from the main street therefore it's best to follow the directions in the link provided. The gym area is located in the forest behind tarliken, and around 200 yards away from Stadion bus stop (number 3). If lost on the way write in the comment section under the main event and we'll find you. 7. But it is raining today... We very seldom cancel the events due to the weather. However if it happens we will send out a message and notify you at least an hour in advance. 8. What should I wear? Dress in layers so that you can adjust according to circumstances. When it is a bit colder bring a hat and gloves preferably made of merino wool. These can be soaking wet and still keep you warm. 9. What if I can't make it? We are understanding of occurrences that happen without your control so if you can't make it just update the RSPV to "not attending" at least an hour before the scheduled time of the meetup.
