Lamajoun Armenian Restaurant
Lamajoun, 128-11782 River Rd,, Richmond, bc, CAGreetings culinary adventurers! This Saturday we'll be experiencing the only traditional Armenian restaurant in Vancouver, Lamajoun! Lamajoun is named after a dish called lamajoun, which is an Armenian and Georgian dish similar to Italian pizza. The owner Serge Maranjyan and his wife started a small bakery selling their dishes at local Armenian churches until the decided to start up their own bakery. Many authentic Armenian dishes can be found at Lamajoun, from sujuk for those who love meat to zaatar for those who prefer vegan options. With a diverse menu and a depth of knowledge in Armenian cuisine, Serge and his wife have built a successful restaurant for those who enjoy Armenian dishes as well as those who are interested in exploring something new! Armenia has been recognized as the first country to adopt Christianity and has a long history over the ages with conflict and strife. Here we are able to experience Armenia in peace through delicious cuisine amongst friends! Come join us this Saturday at Lamajoun!

Inkantu Peruvian Artisan Cuisine
Inkatu Peruvian Artisan Cuisine, 19166 McMyn Road, Pitt Meadows, BC, CAGreetings culinary adventurers! This Saturday we'll be experiencing a traditional Peruvian dinner at Inkantu Peruvian Artisan Cuisine! I haven't hosted a Peruvian dinner in some time, and knowing that a trip to South America is still on my bucket list, I thought of hosting a Peruvian ethnic dinner here for all of us to enjoy!
Peru is sandwiched between Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile with the Pacific Ocean on it's western shores. Inkantu Peruvian Artisan Cuisine started off by a group Peruvians who wanted to showcase the history, culture and cuisine of Peru right here in Vancouver. Dishes like ceviche or pisco are common, but there are many other exotic and less common dishes to experience when dining at a Peruvian restaurant. For those who are just exploring Peruvian cuisine, dishes like tuna (causa) can a great introduction, while those who are more adventurous may choose to experience beef heart (anticucho). Be prepared to gaze over the menu several times over trying to decide, there are many interesting dishes here! Come join us this Saturday evening for another incredible ethnic dinner amongst friends at Inkantu Peruvian Artisan Cuisine!I have had many new members recently and many of those have asked questions regarding my ethnic dinners.
