Co-Founders Are Like Spouses - Choose Wisely
Have you had a co-founder? How did it go? They say co-founders are like spouses. Not at all! Spouses are easier to divorce. Come to this special session where we'll discuss war stories, triumphs, and share advice on choosing, working with, and maintaining a good relationship with your co-founder (and you may even learn some tips for your spouse!)

    What we're about

There are no limits on what new business opportunities can look like. Some come to you, others, you need to create. As an early stage entrepreneur, you know the drive it takes to see them through, but you might not know where to start to build your empire. What is the best path to capitalize on your secret sauce to generate immediate revenue while advancing your big idea? How can you create more traction? Every innovation or technology has more than one application. Your critical path or strategy to market can make or break your business. Get answers before the mistakes!

    About Vincent:
Vincent Serpico has worked in software development for over 20 years. After graduating Cum Laude with honors from Florida International University with a degree in Computer Science, he began his career as a software engineer and progressed to VP of Product development at Flypaper Inc and then Trivantis Corporation. Entrepreneurship is near and dear to Serpico’s heart. As such, after leaving Trivantis, Serpico started a near-shore software development company that specializes in early stage projects where he can help entrepreneurs realize their vision. Starting with just 1 developer and himself, SerpicoDEV now has over 3 dozen people on staff, and caters to early stage mobile and web applications. While running SerpicoDEV, it become necessary to manage dozens of near-shore resources remotely. Serpico created a web and mobile application to specifically manage remote developers, called Spotlight. The application worked so well, Serpico spun it off as a separate company and raised capital to help it grow. Spotlight went through a major pivot and attracted new talent and major funding. Serpico then started Task Messenger, a task assignment and management app that positions perfectly between heavy-weight traditional task management apps and emailing / texting tasks. A life-long learner, Serpico is always abreast of new technologies, and spends most of his “free time” studying, researching and experimenting exponential technologies, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, IoT, Blockchain, and robotics.
