This is a group for people interested in Product Lifecycle Management or PLM to meet up, network, share experiences & best practises and learn from others in the same industry.
The aim is to keep things very informal and it’s for anybody (Managers, PLM practitioners, consultants etc) who are planning, working towards or working on real life PLM implementations using PLM technologies such as Teamcenter, Aras, Windchill, Enovia etc.. to name but a few).
The focus is on sharing practical insights, best practises & experiences with regard to what works and what doesn't as opposed to the usual sales and marketing blurb..
It’s also a good way for people new to PLM, and perhaps working on PLM projects for the first time, to learn from more experienced PLM people.
We do web meetings on interesting topics usually based around a presentation followed by an open discussion. The aim is to keep these groups quite small so that we can have a good interactive discussion. So be prepared to participate.
We also hold regular face to face meetings at convenient venues around the world. Usually there is a short presentation or two on interesting topics followed by drinks and informal networking.
Richard Mason is a leading global expert in data exchange and was a founder of Datranet (later acquired by Datranet) which specialised in data exchange technologies. Richard will give a short talk about the limitations of the technologies currently available for data exchange and will give his view of what the future of data exchange is going to look like.
There are only 15 slots available for this online meetup because we want to keep these groups quite small so that we can have a good interactive discussion.
If there’s no slots left.. don’t worry.. go on the wait list.. if there’s enough people interested, we will arrange another meetup on the same topic..
