Arizona Film Incentive Bill Interviews

From: Charles C.
Sent on: Friday, March 8, 2013 3:52 PM
Dear everyone in the Arizona Film Industry,

The Arizona Film Incentive Bill is currently in the process of trying to get passed through both the House and the Senate. If The Film Incentive Bill passes, then there will be an increase in jobs, Arizona economy, film tourism, Education and networking opportunities. This bill is the deciding factor on whether or not to bring high budget films in Arizona and getting more jobs for the "starving artist".

We are trying to publicize the importance of this bill and need everyone in the Arizona Film Industry to help anyway he or she can. A good buddy ours came up with a great idea to help explain the importance of the bill by making a short video with testimonials from active members in the Arizona Film Industry. Our plan is to make a video, post it on the web, and hope that the right people will take our side on getting the bill passed. If you are willing to contribute your testimonial in this video, please go to Chaparral Park located at 5401 N Hayden Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85250 on Saturday March 9th anytime from 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m. If you do not want to come or unable to show up, then can you please pass this message to a fellow filmmaker. We have another chance to bring more film work in Arizona and we need to unite as a whole to accomplish that goal. If you have any ideas, any thoughts, or any input in favor of passing the bill, please take action and speak up before it is too late. In approximately two weeks, the bill will move to the House where we will run a "striker" bill. Once the striker bill moves through the House, it will return to the Senate for a floor vote. Please take some kind of action, even if it is not participating in our short video.

Thank you all & All the best.
