High achievers are prone to experiencing Imposter Syndrome. Those with Imposter Syndrome feel like they are "faking it", or are a "fraud", waiting to be found out.

There are key reasons people experience Imposter Syndrome, and there are actionable tips they can take to tackle it.

Takeaways:

  • Understanding the role that perfectionism plays in Imposter Syndrome, and one's Imposter Syndrome "type"
  • Recognizing when the Inner Critic is talking, and how to get it to be quiet
  • Learning how to validate one's successes and achievements, no matter how "small"

Speaker:
Heather Rider is an anxiety coach and Imposter Syndrome educator who personally overcame high-functioning anxiety and Imposter Syndrome while working in a demanding Tech job. She works with clients from all over the world who want to take a nontraditional, holistic approach to feeling better in their everyday lives.

Schedule:

6:45 pm - Presentation by Heather Rider
