Our co-organizer for this location is Palak Shah. She is the founder of Open Spaces Women, co-founder and managing partner at Open Spaces Capital and the founder of the Two Kids and A Landlady blog. She is passionate about empowering women to pursue Real Estate Investing as a means to live life on their own terms. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2003. She pursued her passion for Real Estate while acquiring experience in Engineering, Project Management and Business Development. She renovates deteriorated properties in and around Philadelphia. She manages the end to end life cycle starting from sourcing properties, renovation and rentals along with financing and tenant relationships.

April Crossley is a real estate investor in Berks County, PA and started flipping houses and buying rentals in 2004. For 13 years she never purchased a flip property or rental property with any of her own money, strictly using private lenders. She will share how she found private lenders, created relationships with them, and works to maintain those relationships so they keep lending again and again.
