The Ridgewood Singers is an SATB mixed voice community chorus of about 50 singers in Ridgewood, NJ. These happy singers welcome newcomers and make you feel right at home. Some of them perform with other area choruses too.
Rehearsals are well-paced and stimulating. There are two rehearsal seasons: September to December, and January to May, with two concerts per year --- in May & December. Rehearsals are 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday evenings in The Cupola at Care One, 100 West Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ.
Membership dues are $55 per season. SATB scores are loaned to singers when dues are paid.
The group performs a wide variety of music and some artistically and musically challenging pieces too (great way to grow!). Professional music director and professional accompanist (see bios under PAGES). Singers are warmly invited to sample a rehearsal to see how they like us (no obligation).
We look forward to meeting you and sharing the joy of singing with you!
For information, please send a message to Linda D. and we can exchange info and chat if you like.

CANCELED Jan. 14 rehearsal due to unforeseen circumstances. First rehearsal will now be on Jan. 21. Hello! We start rehearsals on Jan. 21, for our May 5 concert. We hope you will come at 7:00 pm on Jan. 21 for snacks and a friendly meet and greet before we take a look at our new music at 7:30 pm. This chorus is bringing together some lovely harmonics and dynamics with director Susan LaFever, and the support of brilliant pianist Eric Clark. We have minimal seasonal dues, and a scholarship fund to encourage young artists, who often perform with us. We hope you will come by and see what we're all about on Jan. 21 at Care One at the Cupola.
