CVTP, 80th AD, Dr. Gina Loudon, guns

Hi All!

I have had to cancel this week's Chula Vista Tea Party meeting because completing the nomination process and filling out all the paper work to be a candidate in the 80th Assembly District is a somewhat time consuming task.
In my opinion the three day nomination period planned by our Democrat Governor Jerry Brown has made it virtually impossible, for anyone, without inside knowledge of arcane election law, to qualify and to have their name on the ballot. Any candidate or voter wanting a real choice in this election has been snookered. If anyone knows a pro bono attorney that would bring a lawsuit to challenge the registrar of voters, the Secretary of State, the Governor of California, and the State of California and who would demand that the name of the  soon to be qualified candidate Lincoln Pickard be placed on the ballot. The time consuming nature of qualifying for the ballot with no advance notice, makes 3 days to qualify for a ballot, patently unfair and against government policy. Lincoln Pickard should be placed on the ballot without filing fee because of the extraordinary effort of requiring a lawsuit to be treated fairly. The State should also pay the attorney fees to the attorney doing the work of the people because he or she is making the election process fair for all participating candidates and for the public that deserves a real choice when selecting a State Assembly Person.

Aside from that we are asking that you listen to Dr. Gina Loudon a radio talk show host on the internet. Here is a link to her show:

If you like her show, I would request that you contact these local radio stations and request that they put her on the air. Many of us would like to be able to listen to her on local radio while driving in our vehicles.

You can call, email or write a comment to ask the stations to include her in their programming:

Obama, Bloomberg, Schumer, Feinstein, etc. are holding a rally and promoting laws that are leading to the eventual confiscation of all guns in the hands of private citizens. Those of you who would like to join a protest demonstration against gun grabbing control freaks, please join us at 4th Ave. and K Street in downtown San Diego on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at or before 4:00 PM.

Here is a link to the control freaks event:

Wear your freedom loving shirts and hats and bring signs worthy of a true conservative protest. A peaceful, respectful demonstration is our best defense against these gun grabbing control freaks. While fighting for this civil right please remember Martin Luther King and his call for peaceful demonstrations.

The San Diego Tea Party had a great event on Wednesday. The NRA meeting at the Elks Lodge in El Cajon was also a huge success and a demonstration of our love for life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness.

May this email find all of you in good health.

Thank you
