Bend and Mount Bachelor for Thanksgiving

11/6/12 PM update - The house is now full. There are also a couple of spare seats left in the carpools going up. If anyone wants to join me I'll be heading up to Bend, Oregon for Thanksgiving, and skiing Mount Bachelor (its about 1/2 an hour outside of Bend). They have been getting a lot of early snow this year in the Northwest and Mount Bachelor might a be really cool spot for Thanksgiving skiing (it's a great mountain!). I will head up from San Francisco (FiDi) after work on Wednesday. I probably won't get all the way to Bend in one day, and stay somewhere in Northern California or Southern Oregon Wednesday night.

We will hopefully get an afternoon of skiing in on Thursday, then head into Bend afterwards. We will get a full day's skiing in on Friday and Saturday, return to SF Sunday morning. We will be cooking a pot luck Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday evening after skiing.

For this trip we have reserved a house in downtown Bend from Thursday to Sunday. Its a cool looking place, with a hot tub, and is very close to the center of town, right on the Bend Ale Trail (http://www.visitbend.com/Bend_Oregon_Activities_Recreation/Bend-Ale-Trail/).
