What we're about

Welcome, thanks for checking in.

With mask mandates changing and vaccines available for everyone, we are hoping to return to more in-person events moving forward.

This means that we will no longer require masks at indoor events (although it will be highly recommended), but since we sing as part of our events we will do our best to make sure we sing outdoors or in areas with great ventilation and if anyone is uncomfortable, please feel free to wear masks to keep yourself safe.

One final note: if you have any questions about any of our events or things we have done in the past - please send us a note or use the comment section of the event in question to ask. If you have a question it is possible that others may have the same question, but didn't bother to ask - so let's keep the conversation going so we can all be up to date.

First off, this IS NOT a traditional choir, but to help answer questions you might have - check out our FAQ page for answers to some general questions.

So no auditions to join, no expectation that you need to read music or can actually carry a tune. In many ways this is a social group with music.  A way to express yourself with a song.

This group is for those among us that like to sing, in the shower, on the road, in line at the store and in their own head during meetings. If you ever hummed or sang long to Lion King, The Greatest Showman, Newsies, Schoolhouse Rock, Hamilton, the theme to the Beverly Hillbillies or quite frankly any music that touches you, then this might be the perfect place for you.

NO, you do not have to sing well. YES, you do have to enjoy singing.
Just about any kind of song will work, but here is the kicker, it would be nice if you were also interested in the possibility of performing in public. From spontaneous concerts in downtown San Jose, to caroling during the holidays and more. We will start with practice, individual songs to karaoke tracks and acapella group sing, to solos, duos and themed sing for special projects.

Be great to hear your voice, come join in the fun.
On the other hand, you may not want to sing, just yet. Perhaps you are a great audience and interested in hearing music from every conceivable genre sung, and you are only interested in humming along or tapping your toes - yes, you are most welcomed as well.

Sometime, someday, we hope you might be encouraged to sing along.
