Farm Sanctuary Celebration FOR the Turkeys

Some of us will be attending Farm Sanctuary's Celebration FOR the Turkeys November 17th in Orland, California.

Farm Sanctuary celebrates each Thanksgiving by honoring the rescued turkeys who call their sanctuaries home with a feast of stuffed squash, cranberries, and pumpkin pie. Following the Feeding of the Turkeys ceremony, registered guests are treated to a vegan holiday feast of their own as they enjoy inspiring presentations from leaders of the animal protection movement. The event is a highlight of the season, both for the guests who attend in person and the hundreds of supporters who tune in for the Feeding of the Turkeys ceremony via webcam. We invite you to take part in this compassionate holiday tradition with us! Contact Farm Sanctuary for event details and registration.

Farm Sanctuary is about a 4-hour drive from Santa Cruz, so people might want to carpool. If you'd like to carpool, please mention it when you RSVP for the event.

Farm Sanctuary might still need volunteers to help (which gets you free admission), so contact Farm Sanctuary (Sophia,[masked], x105) if you're interested.

How long is this event usually? I didn't realize I have something else in the evening. Hoping I can do both, in which case, I can drive.

I'd really love to volunteer for this event, but I would need to catch a ride with someone. Is there anyone else who is planning on volunteering and/or driving? I can pitch in for gas!
