What we're about

This is the Meet Up page of The Singapore Writers' Group.

We also have a website at http://www.singaporewritersgroup.com .

If you're already stuck into a manuscript, poem, short story, script or narrative non-fiction piece - sign up for $80 yearly membership and come along to one of our regular critique groups. You'll also get your own private log in to the website with access to courses, talks and workshop information. You will also have the opportunity to publish a short story in one of our yearly anthologies.

We also run a (free) social and networking meeting once a month (generally the first Tuesday of the month) where you can meet other writers, budding writers, hit the open mic if you dare and find out more info about the SWG.

Look forward to seeing you soon!

Setting up some time to write together for everyone who is tired of dealing with writer's block alone and would like company in their misery. How the sessions work: We sit together and do writing sprints in silence. In between sprints, we chit chat. This space is for writers looking for a dedicated space and time to write... If you want to get feedback / critique etc, then do sign up for the critique groups in SWG! What to bring: laptop/charger, pen, paper, a can-do attitude Where: Starbucks @ Rochester (note: we will try to find seats with charging points, but bring a fully charged device just in case) If possible, please also drop me a msg at [masked] if you're coming. NOTE: even if you're on the "waitlist" feel free to just show up. It doesn't matter :D
