Want to release your inner artist? Calling anyone who'd like to learn how to draw, meet others and relax on a weekend. BEGINNERS DRAWING EVENT SATURDAY 29TH JUNE, 1pm to 4 pm BRUCE CASTLE MUSEUM 'OLD KITCHEN' The 'SipnSketch Beginners Drawing Workshop' is for anyone who wants to explore their creative potential, in a friendly, calm environment. Absolute beginners are very welcome. FREE Refreshments & Attendee certificate. Take your own artwork home and surprise yourself! Meet at Bruce Castle Museum, a magnificent 16th century historic building. The 3 hour drawing class will be a chance to: - Share techniques; including line, tone and space - Explore demonstration with empathetic support and feedback - Find new ways of seeing and sharing ideas with other beginners Pencils, paper, erasers and boards available. Or bring your own. Remember...only dry materials are allowed inside the building. No paints please. The miniumum age is 14 and must be accompanied by a guardian.Concessions is for attendees in receipt of unemployment benefit. Just bring a your recent confirmation DWP letter. (not jobseeking booklet) What can I bring into the event? Dry materials - this sesion is about using pencil. You can choose to bring your own A3 drawing pad or stool. We provide free pens, erasurs, sharpeners, papers and refreshments. Maybe a small bottle of water in the museum spaces... a layer of clothing if it gets chilly in some of the rooms.
