The Spiritual Spinners are a group of Road and Mountain Bike cyclists whose Mission is to raise funds for worthy causes while enjoying one of our favorite pastimes - riding bicycles on the trails and the road. We have come together in Fellowship for a common cause to fights diseases like MS, Diabetes, Cancer, to help those in need of shelter and food, and to be there for each other.

TSS - Road - Angier - Show 'n Go Long Ride

The Saturday Ride Series of the 2018 Cycling Season. The Saturday rides are "show and go" rides. No SAG, child care, or drinks provided. The pace and number of groups are determined by the riders who show up to go. Kind of a scheduled pick-up ride if you will. Usually two or three Groups riding A, B, or C pace from 40 to 60 miles targeting around 3 hours of riding. Group A averages 18-20 over duration of the ride Group B averages 16-18 over duration of the ride Group C averages 14-16 over duration of the ride Weather guidelines: We not ride if it is raining or below 40 degrees at the start of the ride. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before departure to give yourself time to get situated for the ride. All riders must sign a waiver at the first ride of the year. Waivers will be available at the ride. Route maps for the ride will be posted on the event and cue sheets will be available at the ride - the routes will be of appropriate length for about three hours of riding. Please join us for our quarterly clean - up of our stretch of road. Remember to bring gloves and sturdy shoes. We will have bags, water and bug repellent. Look forward to seeing everyone then.

TSS MTB Excursion - Beaver Dam

Our Monthly MTB Excursion will take us to the Beaver Dam Recreation Area on Falls Lake to ride 13+ miles of trails around the park. Trails are suitable for intermediate MTBers with some more advanced optional features. Logistics: 7:45am - Meet at the Fuquay-Varina UMC and make arrangements for ride-sharing/caravanning. 8:00am - Caravan heads out to Beaver Dam 9:00am - Arrive at Beaver Dam & Hit the trails for up to three hours of riding 12:00pm - Head back to Fuquay-Varina & pick up lunch along the way 1:30pm - Arrive back at Fuquay-Varina UMC Beaver Dam Recreation Area is about a One Hour drive (40-50 miles depending on route) from Fuquay-Varina. The entrance to area with MTB trails is on East side of Creedmoor Road. After turning into the park, take the park road to the first left after the information center (~0.2 miles after the information center).
