What we're about

Stability leaders come from all walks of life. We proactively tell our personal stories to build awareness and understanding that it is possible to successfully live and work with a mental health condition. Our goal is to provide information, share insight and inspire hope. We share our stories in a variety of ways:

Speaking Engagements
Traditional Media
Opinion Editorials
Blog Posts
Social media
Storytelling Events
Videos
Published Articles

We also actively support other organizations that advocate for mental health.

Our mission is to change that culture of silence, shame, isolation, and discrimination. We openly share our stories to…

… break down stereotypes and eradicate the prejudice, fear and shame that surround mental health conditions … inspire hope and encourage others to seek and receive the care they need

… raise awareness that treatment works and recovery is not only possible, it is probable

… give voice to those who suffer workplace discrimination because of their condition

… help employers recognize that openly supporting mental health in the workplace is a smart business move that pays dividends

… create a welcoming community of peers supporting each other in this important work

We know that if enough of us speak up, we can and will catalyze real change. We hold fast to our vision that, together, we can create a society where no one will fear discrimination for suffering from a mental illness and everyone who needs care will receive it.

We began in the US and are now branching out to Canada. Find out more about and how to join us here (https://www.thestabilitynetwork.org/take-action/become-stability-leader/)
