What we're about

Usually called a Gothic-Romance, this 19th Century Novel, in my opinion, should be a Christian Classic! It has no more or less violence and sexuality than one finds in the Bible. It tells of a man, who makes a leap of faith for salvation and later how a small band of people, who were pursued by evil, but unite in a crusade against evil, pursuing it to the end and prevailing.
In the listings of Characters, the one not listed is God; even though he is mentioned 180 times!
As a metaphor, it is truly an encouraging novel for Christians today; take courage in God and conquer.
Having read it more times than I can remember and studied it in detail, I feel having been a Christian pastor for over 30 years, that it should be a required reading in seminaries, promoted in Christian Bookstores and used in sermon illustrations.
This meetup class is for Struggling Christians who hae 'gothic' interests and the simply curious!!
