We are very excited to announce that we are bringing our flagship event The UX Crunch to the wonderful city of Manchester. Tech Circus is the UK's first monthly networking company, who run interactive networking events for professionals working in the Experience Design community. We partner with some of the biggest brands and agencies across the UK, offering a range of conferences and workshops, as well as our unique 'showcase' events. Collaboration is key, and our 'showcase' events are hosted directly onsite at clients offices, to give you an insight into their UX approach, current projects and company culture.

Join us, and unwind with other UX professionals over some drinks and pizza, with some excellent case studies and thought-provoking insights! See you soon!

UX Crunch at Home: Designing for Health

Online event

New technology solutions arise in the healthcare industry on a daily basis, but with each new innovation, comes a new challenge to ensure patients' needs are being met. Hospitals and clinics alike are seeking new ways to digitise medical services and the rigorous administrative processes surrounding the care, but how do we ensure we're delivering change which positively impacts patient care. From telehealthcare, through to the implementation of emerging technologies such as VR and AI digital assistants, the industry has come a long way in recent years, but how can we as experience designers support this evolution? In this event, we’ll outline how quality UX research design can help healthcare providers deliver better patient experience. So, join us for virtual learning, networking and more! Featuring: Elisa Del Galdo - Director @ del Galdo Consulting (ex-Blue Latitude Health) Anna - Lead User Researcher @ Babylon Health Erik Smallwood - UX Lead @ Somo Global Head over to www.techcircustv.com to register

UX Crunch at Home: Data & Design

Online event

UX Designers aim to understand how people use a feature, what motivates them to use it, and how they felt. Data, on the other hand, talks more broadly about trends and focuses less on any individual user's needs. Whilst it may not tell us what a problem is for the user, however, or how to solve it, it can help us (as designers) to expose problems and evaluate the effectiveness of our solutions. In this event, we will be discussing how marrying qualitative insights from your user research with other quantitative data-sets, is the most potent method for evaluating problems from more angles. By aligning the two, we can create moving, powerful experiences which are aligned with our user's behaviours, whilst delivering measurable outcomes for our stakeholders! Join us for virtual learning, networking and more! Featuring: Jake Thompson - User Experience Designer - Beeline Haley Rohl - Product Designer - Pitchbook Data Dania Shah - Lead UX Researcher - (ex) Sky Head over to www.techcircustv.com to register for this event
