Uber taught us to depend on on-demand taxis, and advances in driverless cars are in the headlines weekly. But are cars the whole future of how we’ll get around? Sally Simms, VP of Product at transportation tech startup Buster, explains how today’s early-stage group transportation companies are moving us toward a friendlier and more accessible future of transportation.
About the presenter:
Sally Simms is the VP of Product and Operations at Buster (http://www.buster.com), a transportation technology startup in Brooklyn bringing bus, limo, and van booking online. She came to Buster from Google, where she managed marketing partnerships with the news media, and worked with partners like The New York Times, Vogue, NPR, and Mashable. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in French, which she now mostly uses to eavesdrop on the subway.
