What happens after you click apply? You Decide.
The candidate experience is one of the most overlooked experiences out there. It’s tough to build something that will scale for companies that are growing quickly and typically HR teams are not equipped to build out technology that will help aid in their effort to provide a pleasant search, apply, interview experience. There is not enough done to provide transparency for applicants and moments of delight for what sometimes may be an anxious time in their lives. However, more and more companies are realizing that a great candidate experience is the difference between an offer being accepted and a great candidate joining another company.
About the event sponsor
The Talent Experience team at Jet.com was brought together to modernize the talent journey at every single touchpoint. They look at everything from how people first hear about Jet to joining the #WorkPurple team and beyond. We’ve sent out VR headsets to potential candidates for a better look at our office and culture, we’ve built out a history page ( http://history.jet.com/ ) to showcase our milestones and proudest moments, and we’re excited to see what else can be done to improve the candidate experience. We’re looking to partner with the exploding UX community in the greater NYC area to explore the space and gain inspiration from the problems that are prevalent when you’re searching, applying, interviewing, and starting a new job.
