Sal Giamarese has 20 years of Wall Street experience. He is a graduate of Rider College with a B.S. in Finance. He is currently an active trader and has held NASD licenses series 7 and 55.

After graduating from college, Sal walked onto the floor of the American Stock Exchange and asked for a position. They were impressed by his boldness and gave him a job as a runner, then quickly promoted him to a reporter, then specialist clerk. An opportunity arose 8 years later wherein Sal became a trader at an Institutional Hedge Fund, where eventually he rose to vice president in the firm. Besides trading, his duties included teaching, training, and managing new traders and establishing trader risk parameters. During this time, Sal created and successfully implemented his own proprietary trading system. He also taught technical analysis, day and swing trading at All-Tech Investments? headquarters.

Sal started his own trading firm in 1999 where he implemented his previously mentioned proprietary system and used all of his experience to profitably trade for his own account.

Sal?s teaching style is based on real life experiences. He tends to use the ?keep it simple? rule where complicated subjects are made easy to understand. He has taught his wife Christina how to trade. She trades while Sal teaches. He will go the extra mile to make sure his vast knowledge of the markets and trading is conveyed and understood by all of his students.

What students are saying about Sal Giamarese:

"Sal, I attended your class in August 2008. At that time I was down 30% on my portfolio. Now I am up 170%. I give all the credits to you. I used 50% of my capital in long term stocks and 50% I used for day trading. I am using only Support & Resistance on my day trading and works fantastic. Thanks again." Neil S., October 2009

"The most effective & compelling teacher I have had. A world class teacher that is straight forward & informative. Will recommend to all our friends & associates." Bashar D., July 2009

"Sal's techniques challenge you and brings out your best so you have the confidence to go forward." David A., April 2009

"Sal is a humorous, intelligent and knowledgeable teacher. I very much apreciated his experiencial insights of the NYSE floor traders." Thad F., March 2009

"Sal is fantastic. Bringing practical application and guidance are key for becoming successful. He has paved the way and as long as the class sticks to the plan and reinforces what was learned there is no reason we should not become successful. I feel more confident about the coming weeks, months and year." Irfin R., January 2009

"Instructor Salvatore Giamarese is the best. I have taken his class twice. His ability to show concepts being taught on real charts is good. He also does some inspirational talk, which I think is the best. Apart from teaching the course material, he shows trading techniques he uses and that work for him, which is simply great. His command over the subject is good. In two words: Great Instructor." Susheel B., January 2009

"Sal is an AWESOME TEACHER!!!! He is very energetic and very practical. I learned a lot from him and will try and repeat the class with him next year, if possible." Hiten M., January 2009

"Sal was terrific. Great approach, great attitude and practical applications of concepts." David P., January 2009

"Sal is a great instructor. He is very personable, down to earth, but commands your attention. His examples were right on point."Rose C., December 2008

"I couldn't ask for a better instructor. He is knowledgeable and very experienced. He seems to enjoy what he is doing and gives 100% to the class." Ezekiel R., December 2008

"No nonsense. Well informed. Able to engage the class with humor and reality checks in such a way that time literally flew on each day." Brenda M., November 2008

"I have attended the Online Trading Academy 7-day seminar this past week. Sal Giamarese was my instructor. In teaching the materials, I found Sal to be extremely informed and well prepared to maintain student interest for the 7 seven hour sessions; no small feat. Sal conveyed the complex information in a logical, layered way to students who have vastly varied employment histories and educational level backgrounds. After being a specialist on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for 28 years, I was already familiar with many of the concepts Sal was teaching. I attended the seminar to translate my knowledge of the market into the different mentality of day trading. I believe Online Trading Academy's approach has prepared me to be a successful day trader by teaching the discipline and science of day trading." Roy H., October 2008

"Sal taught from a position of simplicity - a ton of material, information, and other things to absorb but focused on making your experience in the classroom uncomplicated. The benefit will be a more well planned approach to my trading day to achieve success. Sal is an excellent instructor with a sound approach and great rapport with the class." Bill B., October 2008

"Sal G. really has a great attitude which puts his heart into the training. All of the questions asked were answered and he was always open minded to the student's need. Rarely is there a teacher who is so well versed with the material and still contains a passion for helping others. Thank you for clearly opening up a new world to me." Jim S., June 2008

"Sal is INCREDIBLE!!! He allows time for students to absorb and understand the information. Having an experienced trader teaching, Sal uses historical situations to explain just about everything involved in trading." Russ W., June 2008

"Like so many of your students I have to say thanks for the wisdom, insight and tools you are providing in class. I have taken a lot of courses from my college days, continuing education and seminars and the like. It is no exaggeration to say that you have a real gift for teaching and making complex subjects easy, and fun to understand. More than likely, you will see me again as I am sure I will be taking more classes at Online Trading Academy." Adam H., June 2007

"Sal was remarkable!!! He was very patient and thorough. Extremely knowledgeable!!! Can't wait to spend the next 4 days with him on the Part 2 class. He explained everything until we all understood! I would recommend him to anyone taking this class!!! 5 stars!" Brent H., April 2007
