Welcome Trialblazers!....Time to re-explore the Los Robles trail system. This will be a moderately strenuous fast paced conditioning hike with a 5-7 +/- mile loop and an elevation gain/ loss of +/- 1600 feet. We start at the trailhead at the back parking lot of Triunfo Park, switchback up to the Los Robles trail intersect, then loop around counter-clockwise by way of the White Horse canyon trail, across the ridge, and back down into the Triunfo trail. We will enjoy views of Ladyface Mountain, Lake Sherwood, Westlake lake, Las Virgenes Reservoir as well as all neighboring cities. At some point, atop White Horse trail, we will stop to enjoy a snack, and re-group before descending back to the park. Please remember to bring a headlamp, we tend to run beyond dusk just a little. Look forward to seeing you on this Westlake loop.

Please wear – brush-resistant pants/shorts, one or more wicking shirts appropriate to the temperature, comfortable hiking shoes or light boots, your favorite undergarments and accessories, and a light backpack.

Please bring – at least two liters of water, snacks, an extra layer of clothing, a charged cell phone, identification, a headlamp, a small first-aid kit, bug repellant and sunscreen, a waterproof shell if rain is forecast, and any medications or anything else you might need on the trail.

The hike host is a volunteer and not responsible for the group. Safety should be a priority for everyone in the group. Please treat this meet-up as hiking with a group of friends.
