What we're about

The purpose of this group is to create a long-distance walking community in The Woodlands during the weekdays who are training or interested in training to walk a half marathon .

All types of walkers are welcomed... beginners to experienced, including power and race walkers. All you need are a good pair of running shoes, proper exercise attire for the weather,a water bottle, a light/reflective clothing , to like Starbucks , and have a joy for life!

We meet at a Starbucks in The Woodlands . Directions for a 2 or 4 mile route ( your choice) are provided. Afterwards, the group will meet at Starbucks to socialize over coffee/tea.

The Woodlands 3M Walkers- Meet 6:25am: Feet to Street: 6:30am

Because of the the pandemic, I have limited the number of people for each event to 8 and follow CDC guidelines. We will social distance during the walk. If you feel sick, please stay home.

We will meet at 6:25am and leave promptly at 6:30am. All you need is a good pair of running shoes, appropriate exercise clothing for the weather, a light, and a hydration bottle. We have been doing between 4 and 5 miles each time we meet. If 4 to 5 miles is too much distance for you right now, you are welcomed to walk with us and turn around for a a shorter distance.

Afterwards, we will socialize at Starbucks over coffee/tea (optional).
Make sure to bring a mask if you want coffee at Starbucks!
