This is to announce the pre-Advent run of the Zurich Hash House Horrors - the junior chapter of ZH3.

X-mas is coming soon.

For those of you new to the ZH3 Meetup List, here is a short description of the Horrors:

There are quite a few Hash families now with kids who are too big to go in a buggy, but too small to run a full Hash - and this is where the idea starts.

The format of the runs is just the same as a normal Hash - with flour markings, checks with the following differences:

- Buggy / child friendly trail no more than a couple of km
- Play / drinks stop (with something stronger for the parents of course)
- U-rated circle songs

The next run will take place as follows:

Hares: Cream Cracker, Coming Shortly, Garden Gnome

Date: Saturday 30th November

Time: 11.00

Place: Park im Grüene, Alsenstrasse 40, 8803 Rüschlikon

Transport: Bus 165 from Zürich Bürkliplatz (or train station Rüschlikon) arrives at stop Park im Grüene at approx 10:13, 10:43, 11:13. Rüschlikon train station is on the S8 and S24 lines. There is otherwise a car park - no idea how much it costs.

Details:

We will meet at the park café - 5 mins walk from the bus stop.

The run will be slightly less than 4.5km. There will play stops and a drinks stop. It tooks us a couple of hours to recce so assume a similar time for the horrors to navigate the trail.

The after-hash will be at the park restaurant - it is basically a Migros restaurant and you can get a hot meal and much to my surprise for a Migros establishment they sell booze. Plenty of room for buggies and the place is kid friendly. There is a play room - but the park is lovely with loads of activities for the kids and great views across the lake.

It seems (no guarantee) we can reserve a table at the café so it would be good to get people RSVPing on meetup so we can at least try.

No bag drop organised - but let's see who turns up in a car and has space in their boot.
