Meet at 6.45pm to start at 7.00pm. There will be a charge of CHF5.00 for participating.

Hare is Dog Woody. the bag drop is a car in the carpark of Erlenbach Bahnhof.

Erlenbach has 2 trains (S6 & S16) every 15 minutes from Zuerich HB from Pl 43/44. Ideal train is the 18:30 S6 arriving at 18:45 but the 18:45 S16 will see you there in time to see the chalk talk start. It is outside Zone 110 and you may need an extension ticket if your ticket doesn't have zone 140.

The trail is A to A'ish and should be virgin territory to most but I'm afraid there will be a lot of up! That said there will also be a similar amount of down. The true trail is circa 4 miles and if your are fast be prepared to run nearer 6. There are many many false trails, check backs and fish hooks. Please note that fish hooks on stairs are optional.

I promise you some stunning views of the Zuerichsee. And we will get to run in the countryside. You will see sheep and you will hear cow bells! You may even smell cow ...

The circle location is somewhere different to the norm.

Unfortunately there are no restaurants in the vicinity that can cater for the size of our group but Stadelhofen is just 12 mins by train and we can go to Mishio.

If you have not hashed before, true trail is typically 6-7km, and there are all speeds in the group, including walkers who normally do a shorter route. If you are a slow runner, you will do something close to true trail distance, as there are places where the trail disappears, and the front runners have to find it - while they are looking, the rest of us have a chance to catch up. If you are a quick runner you will go further, probably around 10k.The hare (person who lays the trail) is really aiming for everyone to get to the end at about the same time in order to take part in the more social side of the run. There will be a charge of CHF5 for participating ( and includes beer and snacks).
