The International Photo Club of Zurich (PICZ) Meetup

If you ever wondered how studio gear works and what you need to start shooting with flash in a studio environment, this workshop is for you

This workshop is aimed at photographers who are looking to learn about the basic operation of studio gear. We will be covering topics like flash gear, light modifiers, gobos, triggers, light stands, back grounds etc.

At the end of the workshop you will have the opportunity to try the different types of gear with each other taking turns posing and shooting

If your gear needs troubleshooting we will do our best to help you as well

What to bring:

• A camera with a 50mm equivalent lens or zoom lens
• Camera manual - in case you don't know by heart how to trigger off camera flash
• A snack and a drink to keep you powered up

## Cost

CHF 100 payable in cash

Join us for an evening of photography and storytelling! This is a casual gathering where we bring together a small group of photography enthusiasts to share and discuss their work over drinks.

Bring up to 10 of your pictures, preferably as a series or a story, and show and explain them to everyone else.
This is a great opportunity to receive constructive feedback, get inspired by different perspectives.

The monthly meeting will take place at the PICZ Photo Studio, Limmattalstrasse 184, Zurich 8049

We would like to invite all attendees to bring one image, book or piece of gear that you can share with the other members.

Also for each meeting we are looking for a volunteer for a 30 minute presentation on a topic of your choice. Please drop a line to Anto if you have the appetite.
