What we're about
We don’t widely call for new members at the moment but members are welcome to bring guests/friends and refer new members who would be a good fit (inc. previous members. Please let me know if you believe someone was deleted by mistake). I hope we still have opportunities to keep the group fresh in that way. If you don’t know anyone but you want to come for particular games scheduled, let us know.
The group is not only for heavy weight games or hardcore gamers at all, however, we rather play any games seriously. We don’t expect anyone to know all games. We teach each other. More than experience/skill level itself, the group value people who are willing to learn, are capable to pay attention and focus during explanation and play, observe rules and spirit of each game, appreciate game hosts’ teaching and efforts, and try to help as they can. Game hosts may ask players to do some preparation (watch tutorials, etc) if necessary.
We like to take advantage of game venues’ updated library and like to try games we haven’t played. We encourage and appreciate members’ initiatives to run games. You can ask people to study rule book or watch tutorials to help you.
Frequent attendance is not a requirement. The group is for people who genuinely understand RSVP and communication (if you are late, let others know so they can decide to wait or not, etc) are courteous and helpful, even without penalty.
