What we’re about
The Game Dev Group is a welcoming and collaborative community of programmers, artists, musicians, voice actors, designers, indie devs, modders... Basically anyone who has even a passing interest in the process of game development.
We provide a chilled, informal space to meet other game devs, and to learn from one another.
The main events run once a month and cover all things game dev. We run a number of different event formats, from fireside chats with industry veterans, to talks from subject matter experts and round-tables with community input.
We also host side-events such as game-jams, games nights and socials.
We want The GDG to be the most welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable community of game devs in the world, and we would love for you to join us in making that happen

**Are you an Indie working on a game?
We are encouraging more people who are working on games to bring them along. Come and show your work off to the community!**It's back! Bring Your Own Games!
Bring a game, grab a table, and have a great time playing with other people passionate about games.
What game you bring is up to you. Maybe you're working on a game and want to get some feedback or show off a completed project. Maybe it's a board game that you've always loved or a new one you want to try out.
Maybe you want to bring a TV, an N64, 4 controllers and game like it's 1997!
Whether you come with friends, or want to meet new people on the night, The Game Dev Group is a chilled, friendly place for anyone interested in games to meet, learn, collaborate (and now game) together.
