Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your prompt responses. We are going to Mt Tamborine this Sunday. I am combining two ideas into one. Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens and "Sea of Faces" to find or create faces in ordinary things, places and buildings. So please allow whole day to spend there if you can. It should be good day out.

Botanic Gardens - The Gardens are in Forsythia Drive, Eagle Heights on Tamborine Mountain - open daylight hours 7 days a week. Botanic gardens are free entry (thanks Warren :-)

"Sea of Faces" - I am borrowing this idea from another group and think it could be very creative. To understand how it works you must watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m56F4EKN9hg .

For those also might be interested is to stop by at the Polish Cafe in the afternoon to have a late coffee and watch the sunset and the bird feeding . See photo link here

Project: Botanical Gardens and 'Sea of Faces'
Time Start: 9:30 am
Sunset: 6:00 pm

Where to meet: We'll meet in front of the 'German Cuckoo Clock Nest' (161 Long Road, Eagle Heights). Why..because it stands out from rest of the surrounding buildings and you can't miss it....and if no one turns out , I'll just go cuckoos my self :-( .. Once you get to the top of the hill turn right at the roundabout with a big tree in the centre. That road is called Long Road. Here is what the shop looks like

Morning Coffee: We'll decide on the day

What to bring:

* Camera .
* Macro lenses
* Extension Tubes
* Close up lens attachments
* Cable or remote camera release
* Warm gear.
* A tripod.
* Money for coffee, lunch (or bring your own)

Event Cost: We'll pass around the hat for a $1 or more contribution to cover our registration on the Meetup website.

What to do with photos:
