We are looking for applicants for spring internships! Grassroots interns get valuable insight into the tips and tricks of fostering community, running a local office, speaking to the public about issues facing animals, and most importantly- effectively advocating for them! Interns are able to see the fruits of their labor and make concrete, positive change for animals. This semester, our interns helped us reach 10,000 individuals with leaflets, assisted in our national and victorious campaign against Aramark, planned events, and more! Internships are flexible, with interns having the ability to set their own hours. Apply today: and choose the NYC office!

Animal Activist & Social Events (The Humane League NYC) is here to provide you with upcoming social and volunteer opportunities hosted by The Humane League and other groups in New York City.

The Humane League is a farm animal protection nonprofit. We work to inspire change for animals at all levels through both our grassroots outreach initiatives and our wildly successful corporate campaigns. We now have a grassroots office here in NYC, so you can expect events from us often!

There are so many ways to advocate for animals, no matter your skill set! Possible volunteer opportunities include: leafleting, tabling, protesting, pay-per-views, assisting with humane education presentations in classrooms, and more. Possible social opportunities include: restaurant benefits, Vegan Drinks, bar crawls, group runs, etc.

We look forward to seeing you all out there and continuing to build this already awesome community! Feel free to reach out to us if there's an event you'd like to see us host or if there's something going on you'd like us to cover.
