What we're about

The LOFT is a meet-up location for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied communities. With more than 30 regular groups and numerous special events throughout the year, the center provide and safe and affirming environment to be yourself and meet new people or reconnect with old friends. Our meet-ups fall under four main categories: support, education, celebration and advocacy.

The LOFT is a non-profit community organization based in Westchester County and serving the lower Hudson Valley LGBT community for more than 30 years and counting!

Have you ever thought about writing creatively, but don’t know where or how to start? Do you have a novel, short story, poem, or play inside of you that’s begging to be set free? Have you done creative writing in the past, but stepped away for a bit and are looking for a way to get back into the craft? Do you want to try something new surrounded by a great support team? Then The LOFT Writers Workshop wants you! The LOFT Writers Workshop is having it's first ever, Open Mic Night! Friday, January 18th: LOFT Open Mic Night from 7:00pm-9:00pm -Anyone can read at the Open Mic Night! Anyone who wants to read can sign up the night of the event. Everyone will get three minutes to read who signs up. Light refreshments will be provided. $5 suggested donation, more if you can, less if you can't!

Gaymes Night (3rd Saturday of Month)

The LOFT: LGBT Community Services Center

Gaymes Night Social evening of board games & cards. We provide the games (or bring your own to share), you provide the smarts! Fun and non-competitive, open to all skill levels. Held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of each month at 7 pm. Snacks provided to feed the little grey cells. Sometime the groups orders pizza. $5.00 Donation requested, more if you can, less if you can't. The LOFT uses multiple ways to promote the center's groups and events including meet-up. The RSVP count on meet-up is not the only indication that people will be attending. Come check of The LOFT!
