This group is operated by The LOFT Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center Inc (Do Business As Name The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center) (9-21-21). The LOFT is a meet-up location for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied communities. With more than 30 regular groups and numerous special events throughout the year, the center provides a safe and affirming environment to be yourself and meet new people or reconnect with old friends. Our meet-ups fall under four main categories: support, education, celebration and advocacy.
The LOFT is a non-profit community organization based in Westchester County and serving the lower Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ community since 1983, when it began in a loft space!

Using books written by people who identify themselves within queer communities, Queer Community Book Club (QCBC) aims to deepen our sense of community and ourselves in a queer centric space. QCBC a free program that is cosponsored by Queery and The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center.
Meets every Saturday from 10am-11am.

- VIRTUAL: Transgender Peer Support GroupLink visible for attendees
The Transgender Peer Support Group is an open topic group run by a trained facilitator for individuals (ages 18 yrs and over) who identify as transgender, non-binary, trans, gender queer, gender non-conforming, cross-dresser, gender variant, or intersex. Partners of trans individuals also welcome.

This group meets 4 times a month, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
If a month has 5 Saturdays and/or Sundays the group will meet then as well. Just check the group calendar which day the group will fall on.

RSVP/QUESTIONS: Please RSVP to group facilitator Joe Nappi at Outwalkinglgbt@gmail.com.Join us as we explore the 4,315 acres of Ward Pound Ridge, Westchester County's largest park. Please note there will be hills to climb at times and that we will walk approximately 4 miles. Ward Pound Ridge Reservation is located on Reservation Road, just off of Old Post Road / Route 35. There is a parking lot located at "6 Reservation Road, Cross River, NY 10518" which will be our meeting location. When you turn onto Reservation Road, continue straight and you will arrive at a small toll booth situated on your left hand side. Standard fare is $10 cash. Continue straight past the booth, you will then see meadows on your left and pass a house on your right. Reservation Road leads right into the parking lot by the Trailside Museum. The hike features three points of interest, the "Indian Rock Shelter", the "Former Fire Tower" (the highest point in the reservation), and there will be a a Nature Museum, a Wigwam, and a Wildflower Garden at the conclusion of our hike. For anyone wanting to take public transit, it can arranged to pick a few people up at the Fleetwood Metro-North Station. Hope to see you there!
