Noon-1pm, Pollak Library Atrium Gallery, Cal State Fullerton
Higher education in the US (and indeed around the world) is currently in the midst of a profound transformation, one that promises to significantly alter not just how we access learning, but also how we pay for it. Scrutinizing the ever-expanding automation of education against the backdrop of the looming student debt crisis, this workshop asks whether or not a public university like ours can survive in its current form. Who stands to benefit from these changes? Who stands to lose? And how should students and professors respond?
